\u201cCuando llegu\u00e9, se me vinieron las l\u00e1grimas al levantar\u00a0 los heridos. Pero no fue por cobard\u00eda, fue por la rabia que sent\u00eda en ese momento\u201d dice un guardia recordando ese instante.<\/p>\n

La zozobra que vive la comunidad de El Credo no comenz\u00f3 el pasado jueves 15 de septiembre de 2011. Inici\u00f3 mucho tiempo atr\u00e1s cuando el gobierno anterior increment\u00f3 el pie de fuerza en todo el territorio nacional.<\/p>\n
Antes, los habitantes de esta vereda sent\u00edan la guerra cercana pero nunca les hab\u00eda llegado a sus casas. Desde el a\u00f1o anterior, el dolor, la rabia y la impotencia empezaron a formar parte de su vida cotidiana. El 5 de julio de 2010 el ej\u00e9rcito nacional comenz\u00f3 a hacer presencia constante en esta comunidad. Los combates se intensificaron present\u00e1ndose semanal y quincenalmente.<\/p>\n
Los desplazamientos iniciaron. La gente sal\u00eda de sus casas con los ni\u00f1os en sus brazos sin ropa y sin zapatos a los sitios de asamblea permanente. Ah\u00ed, toda la comunidad analizaba las verdaderas causas del conflicto y propon\u00edan acciones para defender el territorio.<\/p>\n
Se realizaron entonces recorridos a los sitios donde se encontraban los grupos armados para exigirles su retiro. Esto se convirti\u00f3 en la excusa para ser se\u00f1alados por ambos bandos. \u201cLa guerrilla nos dice: est\u00e1n con ellos o est\u00e1n con nosotros. El ej\u00e9rcito nos dice lo mismo.\u00a0 Ninguno entiende que no estamos con los que portan las armas porque nadie que cargue un arma est\u00e1 defendiendo la vida\u201d dice un comunero de la zona.<\/p>\n
A pesar del esfuerzo de la comunidad por defender su territorio, el horror de la guerra empa\u00f1\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s sus sue\u00f1os y su tranquilidad.
El jueves 15 de septiembre de 2011 los combates iniciaron a las\u00a0 6 de la ma\u00f1ana cuando la gente apenas comenzaba el trabajo en sus parcelas. \u201cLas balas sal\u00edan de ambos lados, toc\u00f3 devolverse a la casa a proteger a los ni\u00f1os\u201d dice un habitante de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
El temor se apoder\u00f3 de la gente porque las detonaciones cada vez m\u00e1s\u00a0 se sent\u00edan cerca de sus casas. Aun as\u00ed, al anochecer, congregados en asamblea permanente decidieron ir a dormir con la esperanza de que las bombas se callaran al llegar el amanecer.<\/p>\n
Sin embargo, el sonido de las metrallas reemplaz\u00f3 el canto de los gallos en la madrugada.\u00a0 Nuevamente, todo el d\u00eda hubo combates. Guerrilla y ej\u00e9rcito, atrincherados en medio de la poblaci\u00f3n civil, lanzaban artefactos por encima de las casas.<\/p>\n
Uno de estos artefactos impact\u00f3 junto a la casa de un comunero dejando heridas a 6 personas, 3 de ellas menores de edad.\u00a0 La guardia ind\u00edgena lleg\u00f3 al sitio para evacuar a los heridos. \u201cCuando llegu\u00e9, se me vinieron las l\u00e1grimas al levantar\u00a0 los heridos. Pero no fue por cobard\u00eda, fue por la rabia que sent\u00eda en ese momento\u201d dice un guardia recordando ese instante.<\/p>\n
Los heridos fueron evacuados en moto, pero Maryi Vanesa Coicue, de 11 a\u00f1os, no alcanz\u00f3 a llegar al puesto de salud m\u00e1s cercano. \u201cYo recog\u00ed la ni\u00f1a, estaba p\u00e1lida, con sangre en su pecho. Suspir\u00f3 y\u00a0 me apret\u00f3 fuerte la mano, luego la solt\u00f3.\u00a0 Ah\u00ed me di cuenta que ya no pod\u00eda hacer nada por ella. Despu\u00e9s, todo qued\u00f3 en silencio\u201d afirm\u00f3 un guardia ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n
Tuvo que morir una ni\u00f1a para que las armas se callaran. Solo en ese momento ambos grupos armados se retiraron del territorio. La guardia ind\u00edgena alcanz\u00f3 a algunos miembros del ej\u00e9rcito y les dijo que lo que hab\u00eda sucedido era culpa de ellos porque no ten\u00edan que combatir en medio de la poblaci\u00f3n civil. Ellos respondieron que lo \u00fanico que hac\u00edan era recibir \u00f3rdenes y si no las obedec\u00edan pod\u00edan ir presos.<\/p>\n
Otros guardias alcanzaron unos guerrilleros para reclamarles por lo sucedido. Ellos dijeron que no hab\u00edan sido quienes lanzaron la bomba. \u201cLa verdad es que no importa qui\u00e9n lanz\u00f3 la bomba, son culpables todos los que vienen a nuestros territorios con sus armas a pelear en medio de nuestras casas\u201d expresa con dolor un comunero.<\/p>\n
Mientras el silencio se apaga en medio de los gritos de dolor de los familiares de Maryi Vanesa, la comunidad de El Credo prepara una marcha para exigirle a todos los grupos armados que se vayan, que no regresen, que los dejen vivir en su autonom\u00eda. \u201cReclutan\u00a0 pobres para que maten pobres. Nosotros sabemos que detr\u00e1s de esto est\u00e1 el gobierno y las empresas multinacionales tratando de dejarnos sin territorio y sin vida. Por eso queremos que esta muerte no quede en el olvido, queremos que todo el mundo sepa que en el Cauca nos est\u00e1n exterminando. Queremos que se sepa la verdad\u201d dice un guardia ind\u00edgena antes de regresar con la madre de Maryi Vanesa para darle un poco de consuelo.<\/p>\n

Ce ne fut pas par l\u00e2chet\u00e9, mais \u00e0 cause de la rage que je ressentais \u00e0 ce moment l\u00e0. \u00bb raconte un garde indig\u00e8ne en se rappelant cet instant. <\/p>\n Le tourment que vit la communaut\u00e9 de El Credo n’a pas commenc\u00e9 le jeudi 15 septembre 2011. Elle a commenc\u00e9 longtemps avant quand le gouvernement ant\u00e9rieur a augment\u00e9 les effectifs des forces arm\u00e9es dans tout le territoire national. <\/p>\n Avant, les habitants de ce hameau sentaient la guerre proche mais elle n’\u00e9tait jamais arriv\u00e9e jusqu’\u00e0 leurs maisons. Depuis l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, la douleur, la rage et l’impuissance ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire partie de leur vie quotidienne. Le 5 juillet 2010 l’arm\u00e9e nationale a initi\u00e9 une pr\u00e9sence constante dans cette communaut\u00e9. Les combats se sont intensifi\u00e9s, tous les quinze jours, toutes les semaines.<\/p>\n Les d\u00e9placements de population ont commenc\u00e9. Les gens sortaient de leurs maisons avec les enfants dans leurs bras sans v\u00eatements ni chaussures vers les lieux d’assembl\u00e9es permanentes. L\u00e0, toute la communaut\u00e9 analysait les vraies causes du conflit et proposait des actions pour d\u00e9fendre le territoire. <\/p>\n Ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 parcourus les sites occup\u00e9s par les groupes arm\u00e9s afin d’exiger leur retrait. Ceci fut cependant une excuse pour faire l’objet de signalement des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s. \u00ab La gu\u00e9rilla nous dit : vous \u00eates avec eux ou vous \u00eates avec nous. L’arm\u00e9e nous dit la m\u00eame chose. Aucun ne peut comprendre que nous ne sommes pas avec ceux qui portent les armes parce que personne en portant les armes ne d\u00e9fend la vie \u00bb exprime un communard de la zone. <\/p>\n Malgr\u00e9 cet effort de la communaut\u00e9 pour d\u00e9fendre son territoire, l’horreur de la guerre a envelopp\u00e9 une fois de plus ses r\u00eaves et sa tranquillit\u00e9. Le jeudi 15 septembre 2011 les combats ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 6h du matin alors que, dans leurs parcelles, les gens commen\u00e7aient \u00e0 peine leur travail. \u00ab Les balles sont sorties des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s, nous avons d\u00fb retourner \u00e0 la maison pour prot\u00e9ger les enfants \u00bb dit un habitant de la r\u00e9gion. <\/p>\n La crainte s’est empar\u00e9e des gens car les d\u00e9tonations se sentaient chaque fois plus pr\u00e8s des maisons. Toujours dans la m\u00eame situation, \u00e0 la nuit tomb\u00e9e, regroup\u00e9s en assembl\u00e9e permanente, ils ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’aller dormir en esp\u00e9rant que les bombes se tairaient au lever du soleil. <\/p>\n Toutefois, le son des mitraillettes rempla\u00e7a le chant des coqs au lever du jour. De nouveau, il y eut des combats tout le jour. La gu\u00e9rilla et l’arm\u00e9e retranch\u00e9s au milieu de la population civile, lan\u00e7aient des objets explosifs par dessus les maisons. <\/p>\n Une de ces bombes est tomb\u00e9e \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d’une maison d’un communard, laissant six personnes bless\u00e9es, dont trois mineures. La garde indig\u00e8ne arriva sur le site pour \u00e9vacuer les bless\u00e9s. \u00ab Quand je suis arriv\u00e9, les larmes me sont venues aux yeux en relevant les bless\u00e9es. Ce ne fut pas par l\u00e2chet\u00e9, mais \u00e0 cause de la rage que je ressentais \u00e0 ce moment. \u00bb raconte un garde indig\u00e8ne en se rappelant cet instant. <\/p>\n Les bless\u00e9s furent \u00e9vacu\u00e9s en moto, mais Maryi Vanesa Coicue, 11 ans, n’a pas r\u00e9sist\u00e9 jusqu’au poste de sant\u00e9 le plus proche. \u00ab J’ai ramass\u00e9 la petite fille, elle \u00e9tait p\u00e2le, avec du sang sur le torse. Elle a soupir\u00e9 et m’a serr\u00e9 fort la main. Puis elle l’a l\u00e2ch\u00e9. C’est l\u00e0 que je me suis rendu compte que je ne pouvait rien faire pour elle. Apr\u00e8s, tout est retomb\u00e9 en silence\u00bb affirme un garde indig\u00e8ne. <\/p>\n Une petite fille a d\u00fb mourir pour que les armes se taisent. Seulement \u00e0 ce moment les deux groupes se sont retir\u00e9s du territoire. La garde indig\u00e8ne rattrapa quelques membres de l’arm\u00e9e et leur dit que ce qui s’\u00e9tait pass\u00e9 \u00e9tait de leur faute car il n’avaient pas \u00e0 combattre au milieu de la population civile. Ceux-ci ont r\u00e9pondu que la seule chose qu’ils faisaient \u00e9tait d’ob\u00e9ir aux ordres, et que s’ils ne le faisaient pas ils pouvaient \u00eatre faits prisonniers. <\/p>\n D’autres gardes rattrap\u00e8rent quelques gu\u00e9rilleros pour leur demander des comptes sur ce qu’il s’\u00e9tait pass\u00e9. Ceux-ci dirent qu’ils n’avaient pas lanc\u00e9 cette bombe. \u00ab En v\u00e9rit\u00e9 il ne nous importe peu qui a lanc\u00e9 la bombe, sont coupables tous ceux qui viennent dans notre territoire avec leurs armes pour se battre au milieu de nos maisons. \u00bb exprime avec douleur un communard. <\/p>\n Pendant que le silence s’\u00e9teint au milieu des cris de douleur des proches de Maryi Vanesa, la communaut\u00e9 de El Credo pr\u00e9pare une marche afin d’exiger de tous les groupes arm\u00e9s qu’ils s’en aillent, qu’ils ne reviennent plus, qu’ils les laissent vivre dans leur autonomie. \u00ab Ils recrutent des pauvres pour tuer des pauvres. Nous savons que derri\u00e8re cela il y a le gouvernement et les firmes multinationales qui essaient de nous laisser sans territoire et sans vie. C’est pour \u00e7a que nous voulons que cette mort ne reste pas dans l’oubli, nous voulons que tout le monde sache que dans le Cauca ils sont en train de nous exterminer. Aber nicht aus Angst, sondern wegen der Wut, die ich in diesem Moment gesp\u00fcrt habe\u201c, sagt ein Mitglied der Guardia. <\/p>\n Die schwere Zeit, die die Gemeinschaft von El Credo im Moment durchlebt, hat nicht erst letzten Donnerstag, 15.September 2011, begonnen. Sie hat vor einiger Zeit begonnen, als die vorherige Regierung das Milit\u00e4r im ganzen nationalen Territorium verst\u00e4rkt hat. <\/p>\n Fr\u00fcher haben die BewohnerInnen dieses Gebietes den Krieg zwar in ihrer N\u00e4he gewusst, niemals aber ist er bis zu ihren H\u00e4usern vorgedrungen. Seit letztem Jahr sind Schmerz, Wut und Ohnmacht Teil ihres t\u00e4glichen Lebens. Seit 5.Juli 2010 ist das nationale Milit\u00e4r eine konstant pr\u00e4sent in dieser Gemeinschaft. Die K\u00e4mpfe haben sich verst\u00e4rkt und treten vierzehnt\u00e4gig bis w\u00f6chentlich auf. <\/p>\n Die Vertreibungen fingen an. Die Menschen flohen ohne Gewand und Schuhe mit ihren Kindern im Arm aus ihren H\u00e4usern zu den Versammlungsorten. Dort analysierte die ganze Gemeinschaft die wahren Ursachen des Konfliktes und schlug verschiedene Aktionen vor, um das Territorium zu verteidigen. <\/p>\n Sie gingen zu den Orten, an denen sich die bewaffneten Gruppen befinden, und forderten sie dringlichst auf, sich zur\u00fcckzuziehen. Das hat sich allerdings in eine Entschuldigung f\u00fcr beide Gruppen entwickelt, sie zu bedrohen, \u201eDie Guerrilla sagt uns: entweder seid ihr auf ihrer Seite oder auf unserer. Das Heer sagt uns das Gleiche. Niemand versteht, dass wir niemanden unterst\u00fctzen, der Waffen tr\u00e4gt. Denn Niemand, der Waffen tr\u00e4gt, verteidigt das Leben.\u201c, sagt ein Bewohner des Gebietes.<\/p>\n Trotz des Drucks, den die Gemeinschaft ausge\u00fcbt hat, um ihr Gebiet zu verteidigen, hat der Krieg ein weiteres Mal ihre Tr\u00e4ume und Ruhe gest\u00f6rt. Am Donnerstag, den 15.September 2011, begann um 6 in der Fr\u00fch das Gefecht. Zu dieser Zeit fingen die BewohnerInnen gerade ihre Arbeit auf den Feldern an. \u201eDie Kugeln kamen von beiden Seiten, wir mussten zu unseren H\u00e4usern zur\u00fcckkehren, um unsere Kinder zu besch\u00fctzen.\u201c, sagt ein Bewohner der Region. <\/p>\n Die Menschen waren von Furcht erf\u00fcllt, da sie sp\u00fcrten, dass die Detonationen sich ihren H\u00e4usern n\u00e4herten. Als die D\u00e4mmerung einbrach, beschlossen die Mitglieder der Versammlung, in der Hoffnung, dass die Bomben bis zum Sonnenaufgang verstummt sein w\u00fcrden, schlafen zu gehen. <\/p>\n Der Klang von Granatsplittern ersetzte jedoch den Schrei der H\u00e4hne. Den ganzen Tag wurde wiederum gek\u00e4mpft. Die Guerrilla und das Milit\u00e4r, verschanzt inmitten der zivilen Bev\u00f6lkerung, worfen Sprengk\u00f6rper \u00fcber die H\u00e4user. <\/p>\n Einer dieser Sprengk\u00f6rper schlug neben dem Haus eines Gemeinschaftsmitglieds ein und verletzte 6 Personen, 3 davon minderj\u00e4hrig. Die \u201eGuardia Ind\u00edgena\u201c kam, um die Verletzten zu evakuieren. \u201eAls ich angekommen bin und die Verletzten geborgen habe, sind mir die Tr\u00e4nen gekommen. Aber nicht aus Angst, sondern wegen der Wut, die ich in diesem Moment gesp\u00fcrt habe\u201c, sagt ein Mitglied der Guardia. <\/p>\n Die Verletzten wurden mit Motorr\u00e4dern evakuiert. Maryi Vanesa Coicue, 11 Jahre alt, schaffte es nicht bis zum n\u00e4chsten Arzt. \u201eIch holte das M\u00e4dchen, es war bleich und hatte Blut auf der Brust. Sie seufzte und dr\u00fcckte meine Hand fest, danach lie\u00df sie sie los. Ich realisierte, dass ich ihr nicht mehr helfen konnte. Danach war alles still.\u201c, best\u00e4tigt ein Mitglied der \u201eGuardia Ind\u00edgena\u201c. <\/p>\n Es musste ein M\u00e4dchen sterben, damit die Sch\u00fcsse eingestellt wurden. Erst in diesem Moment zogen sich beide bewaffneten Gruppen aus dem Gebiet zur\u00fcck. Die Guardia Ind\u00edgena erwischte einige Mitglieder des Heeres und machte ihnen klar, dass das, was vorgefallen war, ihre Schuld war, da sie nicht inmitten der zivilen Bev\u00f6lkerung k\u00e4mpfen sollten. Sie antworteten, dass sie einzig und allein Befehle befolgt haben. W\u00fcrden sie das nicht tun, m\u00fcssten sie ins Gef\u00e4ngnis gehen. <\/p>\n Andere der Guardia sprachen mit einigen Guerrilleros und beanstandeten die Vorf\u00e4lle. Diese sagten, sie h\u00e4tten nicht die Bombe geworfen. \u201eIn Wirklichkeit ist es egal, wer die Bombe geworfen hat. Alle, die mit Waffen in unsere Gebieten kommen und inmitten unserer H\u00e4user k\u00e4mpfen, sind schuldig.\u201c, dr\u00fcckt ein Gemeinschaftsmitglied seinen Schmerz aus. <\/p>\n W\u00e4hrend die Schmerzensschreie der Angeh\u00f6rigen von Maryi Vanesa die Stille durchbrechen, bereitet die Gemeinschaft von El Credo einen Marsch vor. Dieser soll den bewaffneten Gruppen zeigen, dass sie gehen und nicht zur\u00fcckkehren und die Gemeinschaft in ihrer Autonomie leben lassen sollen. \u201eSie rekrutieren Arme, um Arme zu t\u00f6ten. Wir wissen, dass hinter all dem die Regierung und die multinationalen Konzerne stecken, die versuchen, uns Territorium und Leben zu nehmen. Deshalb wollen wir, dass dieser Mord nicht in Vergessenheit ger\u00e4t, sondern dass die ganze Welt wei\u00df, dass sie uns hier im Cauca t\u00f6ten. It started some time ago, when the anterior government decided to augment the military in the whole national territory. <\/p>\n Previously, the inhabitants of this area were aware of the war being near them, but it never advanced to their houses.\u00a0 Pain, anger and impotence have become part of their daily lives since last year. Since the 5th of July 2010 the national military has been constantly present in this community. The combats have intensified and are now occurring every two weeks or weekly. <\/p>\n The displacements started. The people fled from their houses towards the places of assembly without any clothes or shoes, carrying their babies in their arms. There the whole community realised an analysis of the true origins of the conflict. They proposed various actions on how to defend their territory. <\/p>\n They walked to the sites, where the armed groups reside and urged them to leave. Now, both groups are using this as an excuse to threaten them: \u201eThe Guerrilla tells us: you are either on their side or on ours. The army tells us the same. Nobody understands that we don’t support anybody carrying weapons. Because nobody, who is carrying weapons, is defending life.\u201c, expresses a habitant of this area. <\/p>\n Despite the pressure exercised by the community in order to defend their territory, war has once again disrupted their dreams and peace. On Thursday, the 15th of September 2011, the encounters started at 6 am, just about the time when the inhabitants started working on their fields. \u201eThe bullets came flying from both sides. We had to return to our houses to protect our children.\u201c, says a resident of the area. <\/p>\n The people were in fear, due to the fact that they were aware of the detonations coming nearer. At nightfall, the participants of the assembly decided to go to sleep, hoping the bombs would have silenced until dawn. <\/p>\n Nevertheless the sound of bombs replaced the cock craws. Again, the combats went on the whole day. The guerrilla as well as the military, entrenched amidst the civil population, threw explosive devices over the houses. <\/p>\n One of this explosive devices hit ground next to the house of a communitymember and hurt 6 persons, 3 of them underage. The \u201eguardia ind\u00edgena\u201c came to rescue the casualties. \u201eWhen I arrived and recovered the casualties, tears started rolling. They were not tears of fear, but of the anger I felt in this moment.\u201c, says a member of the guardia. <\/p>\n The casualties were evacuated with motorbikes. Maryi Vanesa Coicu\u00e9, 11 years old, did not make it to a doctor. \u201eI got the girl, she was pale and had blood on her chest. She sighed and squeezed my hand tightly, then she let go of it. I realised, that I couldn’t help her anymore. After that everything was silent.\u201c, confirms a member of the guardia ind\u00edgena. <\/p>\n For the gunshots to stop, a girl had to die. It was only then that both armed groups withdrew from the territory. The guardia ind\u00edgena caught up with some members of the army and made it clear to them, that\u00a0 what had happened was their fault for fighting amongst the civil population. They answered that they were simply following orders. If they didn’t do as told they would get imprisoned. <\/p>\n Others of the guardia talked to a few guerrilleros and complained about the occurrences. They said, they weren’t the ones who had thrown the bomb. \u201eIt doesn’t really matter, who threw the bomb. Everyone, who enters our territories with weapons and fights amidst our houses, is guilty.\u201c, expresses a communitymember with pain. <\/p>\n Whilst the cries of pain of the family of Maryi Vanesa are breaking the silence, the community of El Credo is preparing a march. This march is supposed to show the armed groups, that they should leave and not return and let the community live in autonomy. \u201eThey are recruiting the poor to kill the poor. We know that the government and the multinationals are behind all of this. They are trying to take our territory as well as our lives. Which is why we don’t want this death to be forgotten, but to have the whole world know, that they are killing us here in the Cauca.
